April Magazine is really something else. Mesmerizing and ethereal. The recordings are so good but the live performance put everyone in a trance. They played songs from their latest record, Wesley's Convertible Tape For The South. It is worth listening to! 

The Umbrellas's 2nd performance at Gonzo! They are considered one of the rising stars of the jangle pop genre and are nailing the C86 sound. This is one of those bands that if they don't receive recognition now, a group of people in the future will. I can honestly see these guys playing sold out shows when then their older at clubs that really appreciate this style of music.
